I wouldn't trade places with a town planner for the life of me, all the same, there is a right way and a wrong way to treat residents and their concerns, so if you're feeling like you're talking to a brick wall ... or you've even managed to have a win....please share with others so they can arm themselves with YOUR knowledge! Who knows, together we could even achieve a positive outcome!
It would be great if you could include the planning application number you are referring to and state whether you were either applicant or objector for authenticities sake but if you prefer not then please inlcude the particular Rescode or Port Phillip Planning Scheme clause/policy that you have been told doesn't apply (when it should) or does apply (when it shouldn't) and explain Council's take on it as put to you...
